Well, I sent a scale toilet for MM4 to use with Galactus, but he never took a pic of it.

I really should get my mind off things... Life has been hell here. Not going to bring you down with details, but I got a lunch break ten days ago at work and none since, I go to court to press charges next Wednesday against the drunk at home who FINALLY punched me, and the landlady is in treament for (hopefully) six months so I have to clean the condo myself. I usually only went in my (locked) room, but now that she's gone I'll clean all the dog shit out of the other bedrooms as a favor.

But custom-wise? I've been trying to clean up a violin I got free at a garage sale, make a vase out of it.... sort of a vase-fiddle. I'm waiting for the Dragon Boxed set to arrive so I can put it in a terrarium with some bird bones and a mist-maker... I need some ink in my printer to make some nice labels for the wine-bottles I filled with string ("Cord Un Blanc, a Fine White Twine, Very Dry"). Haven't done much to the My Name Is Earl customs since the initial sanding... haven't written anything in my Watson and Holmes novel in a year... but things should change now that the condo is gettingn clean and I don't have to lock up every time I go to the bathroom.

Thanks for asking, and I like the custom figure YOU'RE becoming... 1:1 scale, right? But aren't you just a repaint? [img]wink.gif[/img]

sorry to hear things going like shit for you. believe me, I can relate and only hope it all swings a different way for you. ever want to blab, drop me an email or we could rap on the phone.

the fiddle vase just sounds too fucking fantastic and the terrarium sounds fun as hell also. and should we get together and kick the ass of MM4 for no pictures?!!? little buttmunch he is [img]wink.gif[/img]

"Naked Boy" (called that since he used to pass out naked on the floor all the time) was always insulting me, calling me names for "playing with Barbies", and being a drunk jerk. But since I was always sober, I had to wait until he threw the first punch... and I waited and waited. No matter how falling down drunk he got and kept telling me to "take it outside", when I just stood there and smiled he would back off. Since he was six inches shorted than me and drunk, I could never carry off the "I felt threatened" line in court. So I was actually quite elated when he broke into the house after the eviction, and finally hit me.

But I'm a happy guy deep down, and always have been. So I take it all in stride, and look forward to making more weird toys. I've been toying with the idea of taking an old typewriter keys off and gluing them to a mini keyboard I have, then mounting it all back inside the old typewriter. It would look great with a flat panel monitor mounted sideways behind it, very retro and "Max Headroom"-ish.

And I should kick MM4's ass anyway, it's got nothing to do with the toilet. He still hasn't sent me anything "cool" from down there in return.

Hey, with the piercings, you're now more of a re-deco than just a repaint. And in true McFarlane fashion, not all your parts work as they're supposed to! [img]wink.gif[/img]

I wish I could take life in stride like that, but it doesnt seem to work like that for me.

you've got one great mind for bizzare customs. seems like the first time I met you on the boards that was you thing. very cool to see it keep going.

Ah, I knew you posted the pics of Spidey on a white chair, but for comedic effect, you GOTTA take the picture in at least 3/4 view, if not side view. Then it's visible as a toilet. (I also have a scale desk and computer, but I'm using it for somethign else right now... the Playboy Playmate figures are the same scale...

Gareee, if I had time to talk I'd finally call my folks. There just ain't enough time in the day yet for me to relax. But I will get around to chatting, I swear, and I'll send out the number. And everyone, thanks, I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining, I was just letting you all know why I haven't spent time in the coffeeshop lately.

dont think anyone would think its complaining. we're kind of like family here and we go pretty far back for some of us. nothing wrong with venting or talking as it really is theraputic.
